2011-2012 During the School Year
(I have two little kids, so my training varies based on the school year.)
MONDAY 10 miles with running group (10 min/mile is the average pace with my running group)
TUESDAY 5.5 miles with single jogger (similar pace, unless we're running late to dance :))
WEDNESDAY 6 miles with running group OR hills/speedwork/tempo run if marathon training
THURSDAY 5.5 miles with single jogger
FRIDAY 6 miles with running group
SATURDAY 6-20 miles (or I do long runs on Fridays starting at as early as 4 a.m.) OR local race
SUNDAY 30 minutes on elliptical OR rest day
2012 During the Summer
Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do 60 minutes on the elliptical machine (for a total of 6 miles) for most workouts. I've just begun training for my 27th marathon.
